Owners and lovers of classic cars only love old technology on cars. On the web, they expect Europe’s leading vintage auto magazine to display the latest technologies. That was the publishers’ vision for oldtimermarkt.de. So they chose us to develop a new content management system for their website, a content management system which not only creates a good impression, externally, but also helps save time and money for the company. How, you ask?
In the design phase, we worked closely with all departments within the client company: IT, editorial, ad sales, controlling and management. This saved development time by helping to define clear goals and functional requirements. By training their existing in-house IT, we were able to empower the customer to handle their own ongoing maintenance, thus providing them with the greatest possible autonomy. At the same time, we introduced system workflows to efficiently and securely enter and maintain content. A decisive element of the project was programming their new content management system using the open source software, Drupal. We were able to significantly reduce the total cost of deployment and operation (total cost of ownership). The result: State-of-the-art web technology at a price that keeps everyone happy.
