After holding several positions at Bertelsmann, Hans founded the agency in 2000. Entrepreneurship means above all continuity for Hans. This requires constant change – and that you remain faithful to yourself and your fundamental values. Hans has a doctorate in economics and is also a classical philologist. In addition to the company’s development, he is actively involved in our project business and in the establishment and expansion of cooperation with partners from research and business. His favorite recreations are good books and racing down powder snow ski slopes.
At first glance, this graduate in media informatics may seem quiet and reserved, but his colleagues know that he’s a real entertainer who always creates a good atmosphere in the team. To continue developing his specialty, Christian is constantly on the lookout for new technologies and trends – and he takes care of the further training of his crew in that respect. He appreciates teamwork, both in his band (in which he plays bass) and in the office.
The Motörhead coffee cup and the drumming of his fingers to a beat can be deceptive: Jens is a hard-hitting strategist who keeps the KPIs strictly in view from the beginning to the end of a project, because every solution must bring measurable added value. He has supported our customers on their individual roads to digital transformation since 2001. His studies of mathematics, political science and philosophy serve him well, as does his Swabian spirit. When Jens isn’t developing concepts for our customers, he can be found riding through the woods on his mountain bike.
Equipped with paper, whiteboard, highlighter and sticky notes, Jens works best in a team composed of different skills, talents and characters. He heads our cross-site Creative Division. Diversity and flexible development in interdisciplinary teams for the resulting products and services are particularly important for Jens. He gained his extensive experience in product development and innovation management at various agencies and as a freelance UX Director.
Ela is a backend expert and the best example for the development possibilities at Cocomore: Starting with us as a working student and intern, she then worked as a Drupal developer, Scrum Master and Solution Architect – and today she’s in charge of software development. She coordinates the co-working with developers and project manager, makes sure that the technology is always up to date and the team is in a good mood across three locations. She’s a great Seville fan and loves carrying out joint projects with our developers in Spain – and they’re happy to end their hard day at the office together with tapas and music.
Marc has been part of Cocomore from the very beginning. A graduate business manager, he was also active in corporate consultancy where he learned one major business truth: With the right technology, existing business models can be refreshed and new business fields can be opened. He supports our customers in the consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, education and financial sectors. Marc doesn’t take himself too seriously, though: He’s thrilled with every new Rockstar game and is a passionate fan of the German techno group Scooter – at least as long as H.P. Baxxter leads the band.
All the threads of contract management, human resources, resource planning and purchasing come together on Uli’s desk – and that makes her the most sought-after person in our agency. This economics graduate really moves into top gear when stress and hustle & bustle seem to be gaining the upper hand. As our financial controller, Uli also has an overview of the economic development of the agency. When she’s dealt with all the questions, she likes to get on her Harley and travel through the Rheingau region – but being a native of the coastal north, she also loves a day by the sea.
After her graduate studies and a doctorate in economics, Tanja started at Cocomore in 2010. It quickly became apparent that her strategic approach and her talent of bringing order and structure into the business made her the right person for our central services. She also ensures that the operations side of our business runs smoothly together with our office management and system administration staff. In stressful situations, her optimism and practical approach to things makes her an ideal team player – and her cupcake creations are delicious!
Apart from a short break, Willi has been on board since 2001 and has been significantly involved in the rapid development of our agency. Since 2016, he’s been busy expanding our Cologne office with new customers and talents – and since he’s a diehard Gladbach football fan in Cologne (the two cities are arch enemies in German football), that’s an extra challenge, too! His main job focus is on new customer acquisition, with the orientation on tourism, consumer goods, telecommunications and insurance. He also manages the expansion of our PR and marketing activities.
